Good Gifts

Jesus gives good gifts. All we have to do is ask! 1 John 5:14 says "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, he hearth us."

God's will is that we would walk in the spirit. Gal 5. When we ask, it should be along these lines. Do you ask for peace, love, joy, happiness, patience, fellowship? Do you ask to be a blessing to someone else? Ask according to His will!

"Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets."
