Prayer is so important that Jesus gives us instructions on how to pray effectively. In Matthew 6:15, notice the qualifier "forgive us as we forgive". Having ought against someone will send us to hell. Holding a grudge allows the perpetrator to do evil to us again and again. We have to let it go and let it blow! Forgive and forget! Ask Jesus for help it needed...
"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (NKJ)

Good Deeds
Jesus is quite clear about who will or will not receive rewards. The one seeking recognition of his good deeds is the one who will have no reward from the Father. Further more, notice that the deeds in question are good. Evil deeds condemn the individual. The only escape is through repentance and trusting in Jesus!
"Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly." Unpardonable Sin
There's only one place in the bible where Jesus speaks of an unpardonable sin. Matt 12:32...And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Speaking against the Holy Spirit is equivalent to rejecting Christ with such finality that no future repentance is possible.
Jesus did say that it is possible for a believer to decide to indulge in a little sexual immorality and thereby become spiritually dead. This means that you would lose your salvation but not necessarily commit the unpardonable sin.
In Luke 15:11-24 Jesus tells us a story. He tells us about how a believer decided to go astray. The believer became dead. This is spiritual death not physical. We know this because the believer was physically alive through the whole experience. After indulging in loose living for a period of time, the believer came to his senses. He realized the destitute and depraved condition of his soul. He came to understand the deceitful nature of sin and how abandoning and wanton it really is. He changed his mind, which is repentance, and turned back to the father. As soon as the Father saw his son coming towards him, he ran and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
He welcomed the wayward one with open arms. He brought forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: He brought forth the fatted calf, and killed it; and said let us eat and be merry. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry...

अल्लाह'स आर्डर
Allah's order: "And turn you all together in repentance to Allah O Believers, that you may be successful." [Qur'an, Chapter 24: Verse 31] In the Qur'an, Allah also tells us: "Surely Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves. "[Qur'an, Chapter 2: Verse 222]
Jesus' invitation: "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good - not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. Matthew 12 28-30.
When we come to Jesus, He gives us rest. Rest from trying to be good enough! There is nothing we can do to earn it. We cannot purify ourselves. It is impossible. All we can do is trust in His finished work on the cross to make us acceptable to the Father. We are pure because of what He did! When we turn to Him in this way, He begins a new work in our lives. When we confess our sin and failure to do what He has asked, miracles begin to happen. The power of sin is broken in our lives. He gives us the ability to glorify God in our mortal bodies!
